Only a very confident woman would post a picture of herself in a hairnet, but I figured the message of getting prepared was more important than my vanity. I stole this great picture from Patrice and I hope she will count this as a visiting teaching gift :) These beauties are Patrice, Lori, Michelle and Brenda. Forgive me ladies!
Once a month the Mesa cannery has products available to can for food storage. I know I'm kind of nerdy but I love to go to the cannery. There is such a great feeling of working together and then to take the food home to add to storage. I used to wonder what on earth could happen that I wouldn't be able to go to the store but lately more scenarios are happening like swine flu, contaminated beef, bad spinach, infected tomatoes, truck strikes, inflated gas prices, job losses and on and on and on. I don't question anymore. The possibilities are endless of how quickly we could be without food and water. I'm lucky that I have been counseled and warned that if I'm prepared I shall not fear. I'm not scared. Have any questions about long term food storage and family preparedness? Check out providentliving.org.
You know I love it!
