If you want to enter a contest of some sort, this recipe may not be the one you want to use because it's so basic. But, if you have picky eaters and want a simple, healthy meal this is a great one. I made it the other night and got rave reviews.
Hamburger Soup
1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon season salt
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
4 cups hot water
1- 15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon beef bullion
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup diced celery
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup macaroni
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Mix everything but the macaroni and parmesan cheese in a med pan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the macaroni and simmer an additional 15 minutes or until the vegetables and pasta are tender. Serve with a sprinkle of cheese and a slice of homemade bread.
Thanks! I am going to cook this up tommorrow. It looks really yummy, kind of like the pasta fagioli at Olive Garden.

Yum, this is a yummy recipe of yours that I've made a dozen times, the only thing I hate is that the second day the noodles have soaked up the juice and are ginormous, something about a soggy noodle grosses me out! he he!
